LENDING LORDS GUIDES
The Dubai home-buying checklist.
Start with your plans, then prepare the details that support a lender’s assessment.
1. Build the full budget
Allow for your own deposit, repayments, registration, valuation, lender, brokerage and other transaction costs. Ask for a written fee breakdown for your purchase.
2. Discuss your borrowing options
Prepare information about your income, existing commitments, residency and timeline. Pre-approval is conditional; it is not a guarantee of final finance.
3. Prepare your documents
Request a tailored checklist. Lenders commonly ask for identity and residency documents, income evidence, bank statements and property information. Use an agreed secure channel.
4. Check the property and timing
Understand the contract, developer or seller requirements, valuation and completion milestones. Confirm the conditions and expiry date of any lender offer.
